The Scitsu Racing Tacho
Key Features:
All models are black bodied with black face.
Viewable diameter = 70mm
Supplied with:
Aluminum mounting bracket and rubber mounts.
Operating & fitting instructions.
Charging leads where applicable.

Basic Standard model: The racers first choice.
Classic black design.
Anti-glare finish.
Signal picked up from the H.T. lead/s
Rechargeable Ni-cad battery.
Accurate and non fluctuating.
Complete with rubber mountings, bracket & charging leads. .
The standard models are Ni-Cad powered and have a "jack plug" which has a dual function:
1) It is used to switch the tacho on and off. Insert the plug to switch off when the tacho is not in use.
2) It is also used to insert the charging leads to re-charge the tacho from a 12v car battery.

Type B1 model:
Classic black design.
Anti-glare finish.
Signal picked up from the H.T. lead/s.
Powered by battery on bike or 9v PP3
power pack.

Accurate and non fluctuating.
Complete with rubber mountings & bracket.
This model is not suitable for V-twins.
Due to technical limitations, some configurations do not work with B1 type remote battery.

This tacho does not have the "jack plug" to switch it on and off. If connected to the bike's battery, it can simply be left switched on. the drain on the battery is minimal, however if connected to a PP3 battery pack, it is best to disconect when not in use because of the small capacity of the PP3 battery.

Type B2 model:
Classic black design.

Hard Wired, direct to coil (for bikes with coils on plug caps)
Powered by battery on bike.
Accurate and non fluctuating.
Complete with rubber mountings & bracket.
